| AUGUST IS NSSF'S NATIONAL SHOOTING SPORTS MONTH We will be hosting #ONE events, and other events at BRIDGEVILLE RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB IN AUGUST,2021 |
| BRIDGEVILLE'S "FAMILY DAY AT THE RANGE" A HUGE SUCCESS Thank you to all the volunteers, Woodbridge ROTC and Range Safety Officers for all their help in making the event one to remember. This was the 1st NSSF National Shooting Sports Month event held at Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club. Even with expectations of inclement weather, the event drew over 450 participants (individuals, families, etc.) All safety protocols were in place with sanitizing at each shooting bay. Kids, teens and adults got the chance to experience the safety, fun and camaraderie of the shooting sports. Many came who had never handled a firearm before and were taught all the safety aspects and proper handling of the firearm before shooting. Vendors and shooting disciplines were present as well as many Senators, Representatives and 2020 Candidates running for office. The rain held off, except for a brief 10 min. shower around 2 pm. Many door prizes were given away. We are now working on the August 14th, 2021 Family Day at the Range, which will be bigger and better. Thanks to all Bruce Smith , Family Day at the Range Director |
